We are delighted to introduce a brand‑new, fun and engaging way to celebrate visiting within our Province —
The Warwickshire Freemasons Visiting Challenge!
This initiative encourages every Brother to get out and explore: visit new lodges, meet new friends, see ceremonies in different rooms, and enjoy the incredible variety of Freemasonry across Warwickshire and beyond.
Each time you visit a lodge, simply log your visit online and you’ll begin progressing through a series of Challenges. One visit may count towards several different awards, and certificates are issued at Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum levels.
Open to every Warwickshire Mason, the Challenges are designed to be fun, achievable, and rewarding — whether you were initiated last month or you’ve been visiting for decades
Bronze and Silver are annual awards that reset each calendar year, while Gold and Platinum represent achievements gained over several years. Platinum achievements may even be presented by the PGM or his Deputy — perhaps at a future Provincial Grand Lodge Meeting!
This challenge is designed to:
● Strengthen connections beyond individual lodges/centres.
● Foster a sense of friendly competition.
● Reinforce our role in engaging brethren outside your own lodge.
The Current Challenges are:
Individual Visit Challenge
Total number of visits made to Lodges or Chapters
Bronze award: 2
Silver award: 10
Gold award: 50
Platinum award: 150
Travelling Challenge
Number of different Masonic Centres visited (excluding your own)
Bronze: 1
Silver: 4
Gold: ~45% of centres (approx. 10)
Platinum: ~80% of centres (approx. 16)
Unit Visit Challenge
Number of different Lodges or Chapters visited (each unit only counts once)
Bronze award: 2
Silver award: 7
Gold: ~45% of the Province (approx. 50 units)
Platinum: ~80% of the Province (approx. 90 units)
Ceremony Challenge
Number of ceremonies witnessed as a visitor — tracked separately for each type:
Initiations
Passings
Raisings
Exaltations
Installations (Craft or Royal Arch)
Each ceremony type is its own award track:
Bronze: 3, Silver: 5, Gold: 30, Platinum: 100
